Investment Profile

Some of the questions were a bit more difficult to answer such as asking about my retirement plan, or when I would need to access my portfolio, but I tried to answer with my best judgment, but otherwise there was no problem with this questionnaire.

The result did surprise me because at the start of it, I thought I would turn out to be possible a balanced investor or an aggressive investor, definitely not a conservative one. I did go for some of the safer options like on number 10, I chose B because in the longer term it stayed the highest with the leas amount of loss and on number 8, I chose C because there was only the risk of losing 10% which I was okay with, yet if I had gone with the 40% gain and the 15% loss, then I'd be classified as balanced, but I went with C because I wouldn't want to lose too much.

I'm not one to take large risks in order to make huge gains or lose it all. The chance being too high seems like it would always land against my favor. The only times I might take a gamble like that were if the risk of losing were very low, but in the chance of success would pay off very well, though normally you never see this in life.

The questionnaire sort of does help me get started with some financial goals or even some terms, but just based on this, my answers would not be set in stone. I still think I'd need to actually plan things out for later and sit down and talk about it. Probably with my father since he knows a lot about such subjects.

This profile questionnaire did get me thinking about some stuff that I'd never really thought to plan out before-probably since I don't have a full time job-like I would do for retirement. I'm not sure if I will become some sort of entrepreneur or have created some great product that revolutionized life or something like a cellphone that everyone must have. I might want to work for a company developing such things, or maybe work in a more scientific department.

I like the idea of bonds, but the stock market is more appealing to me, and yet I'd rather choose neither. I may be more conservative than I thought, but wouldn't be comfortable with my money continuously shifting up and down like that. One thing I do not like at all about the stock market is how some days it will just plunge for sometimes no reason.
